SpringSource Teams with RightScale

Hyperic HQ Enterprise provides features such as auto-discovery of assets & inventory, availability monitoring & fault detection

SpringSource has made its Hyperic HQ web application and infrastructure management software available through RightScale's Cloud Management Platform.

It can be used directly from RightScale's automated platform to monitor the availability and manage the performance of cloud applications.

There's a free 30-day trial of the stuff through the RightScale widgetry.

Hyperic HQ Enterprise, a step up from plain old HQ, provides features such as auto-discovery of assets and inventory, availability monitoring and fault detection, performance management, alerting and escalations, and reporting and business analytics.

With the new arrangement RightScale users can add HQ monitoring agents to their RightScale images.

Hyperic HQ can monitor the popular HTTP servers, application servers, databases, messaging servers, and authorization servers.
