ANAHEIM, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/16/12 -- ZyXEL Communications, a leading provider of secure broadband networking, Internet connectivity and routing products, today launched a web portal that simplifies purchases and renewals of Service Level Agreements and licenses for all ZyXEL UTM security services. Furthermore, it automatically tracks and distributes discounts and commissions to authorized ZyXEL channel partners.
The new sales portal is located on ZyXEL's website under 'Security Licenses' tab on each product page. License keys are delivered through the checkout process and sent via email. They are also available in the sales transaction history.
For ZyXEL channel partners to capitalize on the new benefits, they must first register their security products on the portal. A tiered partner discount is then applied to the service license(s). New service activations or service renewals of registered security products will continuously provide commissions to approved partners responsible for the original sale and registration for up to three years from the purchase date. Commissions for authorized channel partners can reach up to 41% of MSRP for the purchase or renewal of these security services.
"ZyXEL is committed to continuously upgrading our channel program with tools that make it easier for our partners to earn discounts and commissions," said Steven Joe, executive vice president of channel business for ZyXEL Americas. "With the launch of our online service licensing portal, we've built a very straight-forward, automated system to provide our partners with recurring revenue streams."
ZyXEL recently announced a free software upgrade for its series of UTM solutions. Upgraded devices now supports IPv6 and native L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol) settings on iOS and Android-based mobile devices for secure VPN connection to corporate networks, without installing any additional applications on the mobile devices.
ZyXEL Authorized Partners can register at http://zyxel.us/licensepartner for the service portal discounts. For more information call 1.800.255.4101 or email partner@zyxel.com.
