New Partnership provides high-speed Internet and cloud services to PEAK customers with
anytime, anywhere, any device access
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Dec. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- NeoNova® Network Services, an industry leader in cloud services and authorized Premier Reseller of Google Apps™, today announced a strategic partnership to deliver Google Apps to PEAK Internet. As a wholesale provider of Internet services, PEAK can now offer these services across their growing customer base in Oregon, Idaho, and Washington.
PEAK was one of the first ISPs to bring high-speed broadband to the Mid-Willamette Valley and the Central Coast of Oregon with plans to roll out Google Apps to PEAK's retail customers in the Pioneer Telephone Cooperative and the CenturyLink exchanges in December 2012, Monroe Telephone Company, Scio Mutual Telephone Association, and Stayton Cooperative Telephone Company in early 2013.
Google Apps brings simple, powerful communication and collaboration tools to organizations of any size – all hosted by Google to streamline setup, minimize maintenance and reduce IT costs. With Gmail (including Google email security), Google Calendar and integrated IM, users can stay connected and work together with ease. Google Apps is hosted on Google's multi-tenant, Internet-scale infrastructure, which offers faster access to innovation, superior reliability and security, and maximum economies of scale.
"We wanted to leverage the potential of the cloud and link this to our regional expansion," said Rick Petersen, CEO of PEAK Internet. "With Google Apps sitting on top of the NeoNova platform, we can easily migrate and manage multiple instances across our service area seamlessly. Our customers are looking for simple-to-use yet best-of-breed solutions, and now they can take advantage of the innovation that Google is constantly adding and have access to the dozens of additional services that Google offers."
Google Apps is integrated with NeoNova's NovaAdmin provisioning platform to enable multi-tier administration support, customizable branding, parent/child relationships with email, archive capability, account deletion requirements, password requirements, and Single Sign-On (SSO) capability. In addition, NeoNova developed a suite of customized data migration tools to make the transition to Google easy for both the ISP and the end user.
"The speed and efficiency with which companies manage and deliver innovative products to their customer-base can be the ultimate source of a competitive advantage," said Chris Benyo, VP Sales and Marketing for NeoNova. "With new devices and the demand for instant access to email and documents, in-house email solutions simply can't keep up with the needs of customers. We're thrilled to be able to work with PEAK Internet to provide its partners and their customers the ability to access and share information from anywhere, on any device."
