NEW YORK, March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dice Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: DHX), a leading provider of specialized websites, today announced changes bolstering its senior leadership team. Shravan Goli has joined the company as President of Dice to guide Dice, ClearanceJobs and the Slashdot Media brands. Michael Durney, SVP Finance and CFO, has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Industry Brands Group, to lead eFinancialCareers, Rigzone and HealthCallings, while continuing his role as the Company's Chief Financial Officer.

Shravan Goli
An internet and media veteran, Shravan Goli brings a deep understanding of the technology space to his role building and executing the growth strategy for Dice.com and overseeing ClearanceJobs and Slashdot Media. Before joining Dice, Mr. Goli served as Chief Executive Officer of Dictionary.com which he joined in late 2009 as President, where he sparked impressive growth through product innovation, increasing engagement and uncovering additional revenue opportunities.

Mr. Goli has more than 18 years of internet and technology experience with proven success in online services, digital media, and social media. At Slide, Mr. Goli was GM for Social Media Business and at Yahoo!, Mr. Goli served as GM for Yahoo! Video and as Head of Products for Yahoo! Finance where his vision and execution contributed to strong traffic and revenue growth. Earlier, Mr. Goli was at Microsoft, where he started out as an early member of the MSN.com team and led the launch of several MSN services and subsequently held roles of increasing responsibility in the home and entertainment division and the business solutions group. Mr. Goli holds an M.B.A. from the University of Washington and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.

In his new role, Michael Durney will lead the Company's services that are targeted towards unique industries, including eFinancialCareers, Rigzone, and Health Callings. In addition, he will continue his position as the Company's Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Durney has successfully overseen the integration and global expansion of Dice Holdings' Rigzone service since the acquisitions of the Company's energy brands in 2010, with Rigzone doubling its revenue, while increasing traffic and engagement. Mr. Durney joined the Company's predecessor, as SVP, Finance and CFO, in June 2000 and has led eight acquisitions, taken the company public and provided strategic and operating counsel to all of the Company's services.
Mr. Durney holds a B.S. degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Oswell, where he is the Chair of the Advisory Council of the School of Business and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the College Foundation.
