GENBAND, a leading developer of multimedia and cloud communications solutions, today announced it will demonstrate advanced WebRTC, cloud and SMART OFFICE solutions at the 8th Annual LTE Asia 2013 Conference & Exhibition in Suntec, Singapore Sept. 17-19. GENBAND will also showcase its newly acquired fring mobile Over-the-Top (OTT) solution at booth no. 46a.

“With Asia-Pacific markets primed for LTE growth over the next few years, we are delighted to present our market-leading WebRTC, cloud and SMART OFFICE unified communications capabilities, which provide our operator customers with innovative new ways to monetize services and enhance the end user experience,” said Brad Bush, GENBAND Chief Marketing Officer. “Additionally, on the heels of our acquisition of the fring solution, we are actively discussing carrier-based implementations for this pioneering mobile IP communications service with forward thinking operators who are increasingly looking at alternative solutions to help them effectively compete against OTT players.”

Solution Showcase Summary

GENBAND's SPiDR™ WebRTC Gateway provides an intelligent bridge between traditional Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) networks and the open ecosystem of the Internet. The fring mobile IP communications service from GENBAND is a white-label carrier offering that includes capabilities for group video chat, 2-way video chat, voice-only calls and text chat.
