Independent Analyst Firm Positions Verisae as a Leader in Building Energy Management Software

Verisae, Inc. (“Verisae”), the leading global provider of maintenance, machine to machine monitoring, energy, and sustainability solutions, has been listed for the third consecutive year as a leader in the Verdantix Report, “Green Quadrant® Building Energy Management Software, March 2014.”

Verdantix analyzed and compared 14 global software providers based on capabilities and market momentum. The study finds that customers’ requirements are continuing to increase in complexity and five suppliers, including Verisae, currently lead the building energy management software market. Highlighted in the report is Verisae’s ability to automatically identify anomalies in energy data and initiate alerts with asset-level control.

“Verisae achieved a best-in-class score for its ability to provide building maintenance functionality to its customers, an aspect of its solution that leaves it with the highest building maintenance score, 2.2 out of 3.0, in the Green Quadrant,” says Alisdair McDougall, Verdantix Analyst and report author.

The report also states that Verisae is ahead of its peers for commercial and retail data management, because of best-in-class management of energy consuming assets. In addition, Verisae has a leadership position in IT systems integration due to its open API platform, allowing integrations with numerous building controls systems and other software systems.

Alisdair McDougall goes on to say, “[Verisae’s] best-in-class ability to easily integrate with legacy business software applications (3.0 out of 3.0) via web service gives vx CONSERVE an advantage over the platforms of several competitors. This is especially true in a marketplace where customers are increasingly demanding a software solution that talks with the systems they already have in place. Two thirds of the customer panel rated this requirement as either important or very important.”

Verisae’s vx Connect platform ties maintenance, asset, energy, alarm monitoring, and emissions data together so that organizations can efficiently manage their operations, reduce energy use, and enhance property appearance. When energy and asset data are correlated, operations can be managed in real-time and results can be extrapolated to determine the true business impact.

“We are excited to be in the top right quadrant again,” says Jerry Dolinsky, CEO of Verisae. “Verisae continues to invest in this maturing space, which is important to our customers, partners, and community. We look forward to the coming year and continuing to drive value for every member of our connected facility network.”

Verisae’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform continues to gain independent analyst and customer recognition globally.
